Members of the Government Community Workers Locals 251-256, 258, who provide hands-on, day-to-day assistance to Manitoba children, families and individuals who need support, ratified a new two-year agreement at Local meetings held throughout the province in February.
Highlights of the agreement include wage increases in both years of the agreement, with retro pay for all current employees, and improvements to the remoteness allowance and bereavement leave.
Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their collective agreement.
