Members of Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation - Local 354 ratified a new collective agreement on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Highlights of the new deal include a wage increase (with an ability to discuss future wage increases based on incoming funding) and new agreement articles covering term employees and layoff and recall policies.
The Bargaining Committee encourages members who have not yet signed a membership application form to contact the MGEU Resource Centre to ensure they receive a copy of the collective agreement once it’s printed.
