The Board of Trustees for the Manitoba Home Care Employees Pension Plan is changing administrators from Canada Life (formerly known as Great-West Life Assurance Company) to the Ellement Consulting Group.
Ellement will begin administrating the plan as of October 1, 2019. Trustees say the services provided by Ellement will be more comprehensive and customized for plan members, including a new dedicated website for Home Care employees and an upcoming Member Portal.
What members need to do
Plan members should review and update any changes to their personal information – such as addresses, birth date, and beneficiaries. Before October 1, 2019, this can be done through Canada Life at 1-800-724-3402. After October 1, 2019, changes must be completed by contacting Ellement or through the new Member Portal when it is available.
